It's hard to imagine a trip to Japan without sushi! Nigiri sushi, maki, futomaki, kakinoha-zushi, funa-sushi, kabura-zushi… Go with me for a culinary initiation to discover their secrets, because much more than just cooking, there is a whole tradition behind the art of sushi . For two hours I will teach you how to make real Japanese shushiman sushi.

At first you will be able to learn more about the history and culinary culture of Japan and you will have an introduction to the realization of real Sushis and Makis in the purest Japanese tradition. You will then work with these fresh products by applying methods from Japanese "traditional cuisine". From the cutting of the fish, to the preparation to the assembly, you will have the chance to discover a precise know-how but which it will be easy for you to redo at home.

In the program

The course includes the raw materials and accessories to make: – 1 roll of 16 pieces of maki-sushi – 1 roll of 8 pieces of california-maki-sushi – 2 nigiri sushi. At the end of the course you can go to the tasting with a glass of wine specially chosen to perfectly accompany your sushi and maki.
